WordPress comes packed with tons of great features to use for your blog and we use it for our official blog to pass along announcements to our clients.
With WordPress Discussions app, we wanted an app that integrates to our Community and has it connected to our Forum, as this is the most active section within our community.
Based on the settings you provide, this App will create a new thread whenever you create a new post in WP. It does not actually add the content, we skipped this to make sure search engines would not pick up on duplicate content and instead provided info and a link that this is where we can discuss this specific announcement. We then disable comments on WP and link to the specific thread so our clients can discuss it there.
If you add your RSS feed, we include a block on your members’ dashboard with the latest blogs from the previous 7 days.
