phpFox Service Terms
*Applicable to all phpFox service projects unless superseded by a separate, written agreement executed between the customer (phpFox license holder) and phpFox Corp.
Confidentiality
All projects are considered confidential. No information related to the project will be shared outside of the phpFox team without prior written consent from the customer.
Scope of Work
The customer must provide a clearly defined Scope of Work before the project commences. While phpFox can assist in the creation of the SOW, the final approval of our estimation or proposal from the customer is required to initiate the project. Any ambiguity in the scope can result in delays or misunderstandings.
Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership
The customer retains full ownership of any custom code developed specifically for their project. However, the underlying phpFox (MetaFox) source code remains the intellectual property of phpFox Corp.
Change Request
Any changes to the original Scope of Work will result in additional costs and an extended project timeline.
Payment terms
Payment terms will be outlined based on the project’s scope, complexity, and timeline. Any missed payment date will affect the project timeline, as phpFox reserves the right to place the project on hold until payment is received.
Project Communication
- All project communication will be done via our ticketing system unless the customer states a different communication channel, which is agreed upon and approved by the phpFox development team.
- After the project kickoff, the customer must acknowledge and respond to all communication from the phpFox team within two business days.
- Failure to adhere to our communication terms will result in added costs or(and) a prolonged delivery timeline.
Pre-Deployment Review & Feedback
- A project can be divided into different phases or a single phase, and we may request our customer to review our work, do a basic UAT, and provide feedback before we deploy each phase. Any such review or UAT request should be responded to within five business days.
- If customers fail to do so, the project will be moved to ON HOLD status.
- Any project moved to ON HOLD status will have a revised delivery date.
- The phpFox team will place the project ON HOLD for two business days. If the customer fails to contact us during this period, the project will be CLOSED.
Post-Delivery Support and Maintenance
- phpFox provides 30-day post-delivery support for all projects.
- During this time, the customer must review all the output delivered by phpFox team and provide feedbacks, if any.
- We will handle any issues or maintenance requirements during this 30-day period; however, any change requests received will be highlighted.
- All change requests will be a paid service (invoiced in advance) as they are outside the initial scope of work agreed upon by the customer and the phpFox team.
- Any request (for support, maintenance, bug fix, or basic review) after the 30-day period will be a paid service.
